On March 11, a workshop was held with the aim of monitoring the 2030 Agenda. and also develop an experimental community in Wurreh.

For this workshop online talks were recorded and prepared, with different professors from the CEU research team, from Madrid, it was also possible to be on the ground from the coordination of the Workshop.

Based on the planned program structure, the development of the Workshop was adapted to a dynamic more linked to the Experimental Community, as the attendance of people from the village of Wurreh was verified in the capacity.

To facilitate the dynamics of the Workshop, the teams in Madrid recorded their presentations, in anticipation of possible connection problems. In Makeni, William Alpha, Clara Abella and Luis Perea coordinated the Workshop and made the presentations directly. As has been mentioned, in the face of a more technical planned initial assistance (UNIMAK students and personnel from the City Council and the Ministry of Lands), finally there was a significant weight of traditional authorities and the population of the village of Wurreh. Previous visits to the village had aroused interest and several were able to attend.

This implied a change in the initial approach. Several of the presentations were left for training sessions later, and a Workshop dynamic was fostered that was very focused on the Experimental Community Project.

Along with the presentations, the fundamental objective of the session was the part of the Workshop and the work in groups of the attendees. To do this, 4 critical issues were organized on which each group focused:

1._ What should be the roles of the different actors in the development of the project?

2,_How to select the 10 families of the new experimental community?

3._ What type of action (water-sanitation) should be financed by the project?

4._ What should be the land management process associated with the project?

The participants were grouped according to their profiles, and worked to identify the key themes of each point. On the way back from the lunch stop, each team presented their conclusions, which were collected for a later detailed report and as direct contributions to the research project. At the end of the Workshop, a diploma was given to each of the attendees
